Trainer: Dr. Audrius Bučinskas (Kaunas University of Technology)
Audrius Bučinskas is an Associate Professor at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), specializing in the development of functional organic materials for optoelectronic devices. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering, his research focuses on structure-property relationships of organic semiconductors, advancing applications in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). He combines extensive academic, research, and industry experience. Prior to his academic career, for 7 years he worked in the private sector, gaining valuable management and technical expertise. Audrius has extensive experience in supervising students across all academic levels and leading international projects, including collaborations under Horizon and the Lithuanian-Latvian-Taiwanese Programme. His skills span organic synthesis, photophysical and electrochemical property investigations, thin film preparation, and computational chemistry. Audrius also possesses strong IT skills critical to his research and teaching.
