Kick-off for the HELIOS Project: Advancing Organic Lighting Technology through International Collaboration!
We’re thrilled to announce the start of the HELIOS project, “Research and Innovation Strategy for Lviv Polytechnic National University dedicated to White-Emitting Organic Lighting Systems,” funded by Horizon Europe! Our kick-off meeting in Kraków, Poland, on October 17-18, 2024, marked the beginning of a groundbreaking journey to advance organic lighting technologies.
Lviv Polytechnic and Prof. Iryna Yaremchuk led the HELIOS project, which unites researchers from Ukraine, Lithuania, the UK, Latvia, and Luxembourg. Together, we aim to create ultra-efficient, single-molecule white-light emitters that set new lighting efficiency and sustainability standards!
As Prof. Yaremchuk shared:
“The HELIOS project is an incredible opportunity for us to push the boundaries of organic lighting technology and build strong partnerships with experts across Europe. We look forward to groundbreaking advancements and the opportunities this project creates for young researchers at Lviv Polytechnic.”
HELIOS is also dedicated to empowering early-career researchers through training, workshops, and EU project management experience, preparing them for future collaborations and innovations.
At the kick-off, we planned our approach, discussed work packages, and mapped out our goals for the upcoming year. We can’t wait to see this project’s transformative impact on organic lighting systems!
Stay tuned for updates on our journey, and reach out to learn more about our innovative work in organic lighting!
