As part of the HELIOS project (HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02), Dr. Lyudmyla Kanibolotska and Dr. Oleksandr Kanibolotskyy from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, are undertaking several secondments to Ukraine.
Due to the current security situation in Ukraine, visits of researchers from the University of Glasgow to Lviv Polytechnic National University are being carried out in an online format. This approach ensures the continuity of scientific cooperation and the sustainability of academic partnership.
Within the project framework, tasks across various work packages are actively implemented. Regular online meetings, seminars, and consultations are held, fostering knowledge exchange and enhancing inter-institutional communication.
Researchers from both universities are engaged in the preparation of joint scientific publications in leading international journals. Project partners from Kaunas University of Technology are also involved, broadening the network of experts and reinforcing the interdisciplinary scope of the research.
Despite the challenges, the partnership remains dynamic and highly collaborative. Special emphasis is placed on promoting intercultural dialogue and supporting academic solidarity. Both universities highly value the opportunity to continue this cooperation, which contributes to scientific progress and strengthens international academic ties
